Fitness Classes

Kickboxing

This class is every Tues at :30 pm5 and Friday at 10am with instructor April Small. Cardio kickboxing is a combination of aerobics, boxing, and martial arts. This is one of the most popular fitness trends to hit gyms in recent years. These workouts which are inspired by martial arts, have motivated many people to start a fitness program. Classes are open to ages 16 and up; the cost is $20 per month or $5 per session.

Senshi Martial Arts

Senshi Dawn Webb offers classes Monday/Thursday from 5:30-8:30pm. This class is for ages eight years old and up. Teens and young adults find an excellent mix of conditioning, fitness, and personal protection skills. Older adults are encouraged to be their personal best with conditioning, fitness, camaraderie, and self-confidence. Martial Arts is one of the few “exercise programs” that engages your mind with your body. Cost is $35 per month, per student. Classes are on-going.

Karate Cubs

This class is for younger Karate students, which will get your child started in the Martial Arts. The student will learn the basic techniques as well as discipline. This class is on Mondays at 4:45 pm through 5:30 pm

Kim's Kangoo Club WV

This class is super fun and meets every Wednesday at 5:00 pm. Key Benefits of the class are 80% less impact on Joints, 25% more calorie burn, Flushes lymphatic system, provides spinal health and strength, provides cardiovascular improvements. Kimberly Gifford is the instructor. She is a rebound fitness instructor, group fitness certified, and Aerobic fitness certified.

Yoga

Ashley White is the owner/instructor of the exciting new class at SYCC. Soul Shine Yoga is the class you should be taking. She is a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor with a focus on Health and Wellness. Classes are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings at SYCC.
